6.1.1 - Here is the official Generally Rookie Championship rules. These following rules will apply in all GRC rounds.
6.1.3 - The latest modification of GRC rules has been done on 20th November 2009 and are applicable with immediate effect (Update for Season 14).
6.1.4a - Rule changes can occur at any moment if needed, in that case, all drivers will be warn by an official bulletin in the website (news section) and in the official thread in GRIF.
6.2.1a - All GRC events apart the Masters of Apasta is a "Sprint Race" event (see art. 1.3.2b of GRO Sporting rules).
6.2.1b - Master races events are a "Long Race" event (see art. 1.3.2c of GRO Sporting rules).
6.3.1 - GRC events are reserved to bronze-class and silver-class drivers, all sign up informations are avaiable in Entries & Signup page.
6.3.2 - GRC drivers can race in a team or as a privateer (no team).
6.4.1 - Any driver can sign up a team, there a no limit of maximal number of drivers in teams
6.4.2 - A team must at least have 2 registered drivers
6.4.3 - The leader of the team can change drivers at any moment and without limit, as long as he warn GRO of the change.
6.5.1 - All events, without exception, will be raced with the

6. Regular Races
6.6.1 - All GRC regular races will have a race distance of 10 km
6.6.2 - Login windows of GRC races usually lasts 1 week (7 days).
6.6.3 - Each GRC sprint races lasts around 4 or 5 minutes, but the exact login time will be precised in preview pages, in calendar & results page.
6.6.4 - You can freely do pit stops at any moment of the race.
6.6.5 - GRC tracks will not have "safepits" pit lane, so Art. 1.10.2c of GRO sporing rules won't apply.
7. Masters races
6.7.1 - Each two seasons, the Masters of Apasta and the Masters of Dicrette (formerly known as "Apasta Long Race") will be alternatively organized.
6.7.2 - Race distance of Masters races are set at 25km.
6.7.3 - Login windows of Masters races lasts 1 week (7 days), just like a regular GRC Race.
6.7.4 - Masters races lasts around 12 minutes, but the exact login time will be precised in preview pages, in calendar & results page.
6.7.5 - Masters tracks, as other GRC tracks will not have "safepits" pit lane, so Art. 1.10.2c or GRO sporing rules won't apply.
6.8.1 - There will be no weather conditions in GRC events
6.8.2a - Therefore, one tyre compound will be available in each GRC race :
6.8.2b - Slicks : Tyres for a dry track, very difficult to drive on a wet track
6.9.1 - During regular GRC races, the settings will be :
- Tyre wear : 12%
- Fuel consumption : 10%
- Fuel mass : 50kg
- Damage : 15%
6.9.2 - During Masters races, the settings will be :
- Tyre wear : 8%
- Fuel consumption : 7%
- Fuel mass : 100kg
- Damage : 15%
6.9.3 - Moreover, drivers must use these settings in any circumstances :
- Effects : 100%
- Game speed : 100%
6.9.4a - You must race against the 3 official GRC AI opponents : AI_Rookie_1, AI_Rookie_2 and AI_Rookie_3 which are available on the GRC pack
6.9.4b - Moreover, you musn't change AI levels
10. After the race/Deadlines/Race results
6.10.1 - According to art. 1.11.2a, 1.11.2b and 1.11.2c of GRO Sporting rules, drivers must save their game and take a screenshot with F11 at the end of their race (when the results table appears).
6.10.2 - The .zip file containing the savegame, the screenshot and the track must be delivered to firstname.lastname@example.org right after the end of the race.
6.10.3 - The deadlines of GRC events are fixed on Saturdays at 11:59 PM GMT.
6.11.1a - There are four standings which will crown the GRC champions : one for the teams, and one for the drivers.
6.11.1b - Drivers standings General standings of all drivers.
6.11.1c - Teams standings General standings of teams, only the 2 best drivers of the team in a race can score points for their teams.
6.11.1d - Junior standings General standings for all "Bronze" class drivers (see GRO Sporting rules).
6.11.1e - Nations standings General standings for all Nations gathering 2 or more drivers.
6.11.2a - At the end of each race, points will be distribued as follows :
- 1st place 22 points
- 2nd place 20 points
- 3rd place 18 points
- 4th place 16 points
- 5th place 15 points
- 6th place 14 points
- 7th place 13 points
- 8th place 12 points
- 9th place 11 points
- 10th place 10 points
- 11th place 9 points
- 12th place 8 points
- 13th place 7 points
- 14th place 6 points
- 15th place 5 points
- 16th place 4 points
- 17th place 3 points
- 18th place 2 points
- Beyond 18th place 1 point
- Fastest lap 1 point
6.11.2b - There will be also a specific points system for Nations standings :
- Winning driver 3 points
- Driver in top 5 2,5 points
- Driver in top 10 2 points
- Driver in top 18 1,5 points
- Each driver who taken part 1 point
6.11.3 - A driver must complete at least 51% of the race distance to be eligible to score points.
6.11.4a - At the end of the championship, the driver who has scored the most number of points will be crowned Generally Rookie Championship drivers champions.
6.11.4b - At the end of the championship, the team who has scored the most number of points will be crowned Generally Rookie Championship teams champion.
6.11.4c - At the end of the championship, the "Bronze" class driver who has scored the most number of points will be crowned Generally Rookie Championship Junior drivers champions.
6.11.5 - If two or more cars or drivers from a different car finish the season with the same number of points, the higher place in the Championship (in either case) shall be awarded to :
- The holder of the greatest number of victories
- The holder of the greatest number of 2nd places
- The holder of the greatest number of 3rd places
- And if I still can't say who is in higher place, I will consider the greatest number of fastest laps.
- And finally, I will consider the cumulated total race time of all rounds of the season.
6.11.6 - For Masters races, we will use a specific points system, it will count double, so points will be distribued as follows :
- 1st place 44 points
- 2nd place 40 points
- 3rd place 36 points
- 4th place 32 points
- 5th place 30 points
- 6th place 28 points
- 7th place 26 points
- 8th place 24 points
- 9th place 22 points
- 10th place 20 points
- 11th place 18 points
- 12th place 16 points
- 13th place 14 points
- 14th place 12 points
- 15th place 10 points
- 16th place 8 points
- 17th place 6 points
- 18th place 4 points
- Beyond 18th place 2 points
- Fastest lap 2 points
12. Black List
6.12.1a - According to GRO Sporting rules, all Gold-class and Platinum-class drivers are "black-listed".
6.12.1b - A "black-listed" driver cannot race in GRC events.
6.12.2a - A GRC champion will be automaticly promoted as a Gold-class drivers, and then, black-listed.
6.12.2b - However, the organizer may freely add any driver to the black list if he considers that he did good enough performances in GRC (by scoring impressive victories for example).
13. Offences & Penalties
6.13.1 - All penalties or disqualification will automaticly cancel a driver's fastest lap of of the race.
6.13.2a - If a driver used a modified car in his/her login attempt, he will be disqualified of the current event.
6.13.2b - If a driver used a different car, his/her race won't count.
6.13.3a - If a driver raced in a modified track in his/her login attempt, he/she will be disqualified of the current event.
6.13.3b - If a driver raced in a different track in his/her login attempt, his/her race won't count.
6.13.4 - If a driver raced with lower game speed than permitted in his/her login attempt, he will be disqualified of the current event.
6.13.5 - If a driver saved/loaded his race during his/her login attempt, he/she will be disqualified of the current event.
6.13.6 - If a driver raced with a modified/wrong gr.ini in his/her login attempt, he/she team will be punished by a time penalty depending of race or the race lenght (2 seconds per kilometre).
6.13.7 - If a driver sent files late, he may have (depending of the gravity of the offence) a time penalty depending of the race lenght (1 second per kilometre) and time of delay. 1-3 minutes (2-6 in Masters race) - no additional penalty and warning for the first offense, additional 1 second per kilometre for the rest offenses; 4 and more minutes (7 and more in Masters race) - additional 1 second per kilometre.
6.13.8a - If a driver forgot to send one of the files, he will have a time penalty depending of the race lenght (2 seconds per kilometre).
6.13.8b - If a driver delivered no files, his/her race won't count.
6.13.9 - If a driver raced with wrong settings, he will have a penalty depending of the gravity of the offence, from a single warning if it is disadvantaging him (if raced with higher tyre wear for example), to a Back of Pack penalty (if he raced with all settings at 0%).
6.13.10 - If a driver break any rule in this text or in actual competition's rules where sanction is not precised, then he will be given a time penalty depending of the gravity of his fault.
Offences & Penalties (additional)
6.13.11 - If a driver shortcutted or wallbounced, he will have a penalty depending of the gravity of the offence, from a single warning if it was single mistake, to a Back of Pack penalty (if there were 5 or more such incidents).
